Last we left our heroes, they were following the tracks of Lizardmen from the last village. This lead them to another small town in the desert. The party decide that they want to go to a local pub and grab something to eat.
After a while they notice that the locals are looking at the Dragonborn brothers with a bit of nervousness in their eyes. They choose to ignore this and continue to eat happily.
Skoll decides to tease their guide (Filia) which causes her to run off crying. The others ignore Filia and allow her to run off into the rain. Soon the tavern is empty except for the cook and two large men.
Soon the cook emerges with a crazed look in his eyes and the party learns that he plans to have them on the dinner menu. The heroes are successful in defeating these crazy locals and run outside to learn that Filia has been arrested for being a Dragon Priestess - they would hold a trial to determine her fate.
With diplomatic grace, Melchior demanded that they be allowed to enter into the place where the trial was to be held. The nervous guards take them to their seats and positions several guards to stand next to our heroes.
When Filia is brought out, the group learns that Gravos and Jillas are behind all of this as they act as Filia's prosecutors. The judge decides that the one way to determine if Filia is a Dragon is with a special tickler that he pulls out of a box. Filia confirmed she was a Dragon because the tickler under her nose caused her to sneeze.
A highly annoyed Melchior stormed down to take the tickler from the Judge's hand saying that this was ridiculous. Melchior tickles the judge under the nose and others, causing them to sneeze - hoping this would end this silly witch trial.
"He's a Dragon" was the unexpected response from the public as the pointed at the judge and the others. While the villagers were all in a panic, they find a way to sneak out with Filia.
Soon they got away far enough from the village to feel safe. This is when Skoll decides to make Filia cry with one of his teasing comments.
...to be continued
